Business Analyst - Technology Business Management (TBM) Expense Transparency Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead Technology Business Management (TBM) Expense Transparency initiatives across IT service towers
• Develop and enhance TBM financial models and reporting structures
• Analyze IT spending patterns, cost drivers, and financial trends
• Maintain reporting to communicate IT financial performance to leadership
• Partner with IT Service Owners, Finance, and Procurement teams
• Refine data sources, mapping logic, and allocation rules to improve reporting quality
• Support continuous improvement of IT financial management and governance frameworks

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in TBM, ITFM, or Cost Transparency Programs
• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and IT budgeting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise including complex formulas and financial modeling
• Strong understanding of cost allocation methodologies and procurement processes
• Proven ability to collaborate with Finance and IT stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITFM, CMDB, or Asset Management
• Experience with ERP platforms like PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, or Workday
• Experience supporting large public-sector organizations or transportation agencies
