Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable requirements
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements in retail operations
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops
• Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements
• Develop functional specifications, use cases, and user stories to guide technical teams
• Perform data analysis to support decision-making, trend identification, and issue resolution
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide post-implementation support
• Serve as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• 3+ years of experience in the retail domain
• Strong understanding of retail operations including supply chain, inventory, and sales
• Proficiency in business process modeling and documentation tools
• Hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, or Tableau
• Familiarity with retail-specific software such as ERP or POS systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA
• Exposure to digital transformation projects within the retail domain
