Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage automation projects for securities, cash, FX, and time deposit transactions to enhance STP rates.
• Onboard client and Investment Manager SWIFT messages into Custody and Accounting applications.
• Write detailed user stories, review them with IT leads, and manage implementation across the BAU board.
• Perform end-to-end analysis, validation, and production release for assigned projects and cases.
• Meet with business and client service stakeholders to discuss file automation and perform thorough testing.
• Track project progress, provide periodic status reports, and triage production issues.
• Investigate inquiries from various organizations to ensure implementation problems are addressed.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of SWIFT MT Messages and message mapping.
• Deep understanding of Securities products (equities, bonds, fixed income, derivatives, etc.).
• Experience with FX and Cash settlements and market practices.
• Proven ability in user story writing and transaction management.
• Experience working as part of a deployment team, including analysis and testing.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with business and client-side stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO20022 and MX SWIFT messages.
• Experience in Securities settlement, Back Office, and Middle Office processes.
• Familiarity with specific SWIFT message types such as MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543, MT304, MT321, and MT380.
