Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Partner with front-office, middle-office, and operations teams across capital markets including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and use cases
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement walkthroughs
• Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams on data mapping, lineage, and reconciliation
• Support UAT planning, test case creation, and defect tracking
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets or Investment Banking
• Strong understanding of asset classes such as Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, or FX
• Good understanding of trade lifecycle and capital markets operations
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R
• Experience with requirement documentation and stakeholder management
• Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery models

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with market data platforms like Bloomberg or Refinitiv
• Knowledge of risk systems, PnL, or regulatory reporting
• Exposure to data/AI initiatives in capital markets
• Agile certifications or prior consulting experience
• Experience in client-facing roles supporting pre-sales and proposals
