Business Analyst - Risk

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact risk management initiatives and drive process modernization across the enterprise
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
• Develop and implement multi-year strategic management plans for risk mitigation and resiliency
• Facilitate risk management forums, including internal and external working groups and committees
• Perform risk management, gap analysis, and oversight of budgeting and resource acquisition for mitigation planning
• Champion risk management across the agency by building collaborative relationships with mission partners
• Define requirements to enhance and automate risk processes within the Customer Risk and Opportunity Management system
• Develop and maintain comprehensive risk and resiliency program documentation and training materials

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience (or 16+ years of experience in lieu of a degree)
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations for executive decision-makers
• Demonstrated expertise in assessing large quantities of data to support senior-level decisions
• Strong leadership competencies with experience directing diverse teams toward high-performance outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• FEMA Level 1 certification (or ability to attain within 6 months of hire)
• Demonstrated experience with standard business application software for presentations and SharePoint-based websites
