Business Analyst – Procurement Analytics & Resilience

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity intelligence models to track pricing trends, supply-demand dynamics, and cost drivers
• Build and maintain should-cost models and perform cost decomposition to identify savings opportunities
• Analyze bill-of-materials (BOM) structures to identify cost, risk, and standardization opportunities
• Develop component- and supplier-level risk models to enable proactive identification of supply chain disruptions
• Build and scale analytics solutions and executive-level dashboards using Power BI, SQL, or Python
• Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Category Managers to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in business analytics, procurement, supply chain, or finance
• Strong experience in cost modeling, financial analysis, and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel)
• Deep understanding of supply chain concepts including BOMs, sourcing, and supplier management
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into strategic business decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or direct materials procurement industries
• Exposure to should-cost modeling, teardown analysis, or commodity management
• Knowledge of ERP and procurement systems such as SAP or Ariba
• Experience with supply risk tools, data platforms, or predictive analytics
