Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Define critical metrics for the pod strategy and monitor performance trends to influence interventions.
• Collaborate with business and product functions to translate business problems into analytical problem statements.
• Own the entire insight generation phase, performing deep analysis to provide data-driven, unbiased answers.
• Contribute individual strategic thoughts on how to improve critical metrics, acting as a business owner.
• Serve as the analytics and visualization SME, designing and building dashboards that are easy for the team to consume.
• Mentor other analysts and participate in the hiring and onboarding processes for new team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of overall analytics experience.
• At least 1 year of experience specifically within the lending domain.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to manipulate and consolidate multiple data sources.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Understanding of data-analysis languages like R or Python and core statistical concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate the "story" behind the data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building Machine Learning (ML) models.
• Ability to handle and derive insights from large-scale big data sources.
