About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business processes and requirements, translating them into user stories and functional specifications
  • Develop system specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies aligned with business needs
  • Create technical and functional documentation for users and stakeholders
  • Evaluate existing systems to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, IT, and remote developers, to ensure requirements are met
  • Support solution quality by maintaining test scripts and contributing to best practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT business analyst experience
  • BS/BA degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro
  • Technical aptitude in software analysis, design, and UML modeling
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • IIBA CBAP certification (US) or ISEB qualification (UK)
  • Experience with Aha!, Slack, Figma, and AI tools
  • Experience maintaining automated test scripts
