Business Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level objectives from Product Management and clients into testable, measurable functional specifications
• Research, document, and manage the full life cycle of software product feature requirements
• Produce and maintain the product backlog and participate in sprint planning
• Analyze user workflows and develop detailed use cases for system interactions
• Assist with the prioritization of initial feature development and ongoing change requests
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to assist with the execution of systematic and ad-hoc test cases
• Communicate evolving requirements effectively across leadership, development, UX, and support teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working specifically with enterprise software products
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life-cycle (SDLC) and/or Product Development life-cycle
• Proven experience in requirement management, including gathering, analysis, and specification documentation
• Hands-on experience with databases and service level APIs
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional, collaborative teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile/SCRUM software development methodologies
• Knowledge of web product design
• Background in order processing, accounting, ecommerce, or content management systems
