Business Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level objectives from Product Management and clients into testable, measurable functional specifications
• Research and document functional requirements by integrating multiple data sources
• Take ownership of software product features and manage the full requirement life cycle
• Produce and maintain the product backlog and participate in sprint planning
• Analyze user workflows and develop detailed use cases for various user classes
• Assist with the prioritization of initial feature development and ongoing change requests
• Support the Quality Assurance group with the execution of systematic and ad-hoc test cases
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with leadership, development, UX, QA, and support teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role specifically working with enterprise software products
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life-cycle (SDLC) and Product Development life-cycle
• Proven expertise in requirement management, including gathering, analysis, and specification documentation
• Hands-on experience with databases and service-level APIs
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional, collaborative teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile/SCRUM software development methodologies
• Knowledge of web product design
• Background in order processing, accounting, ecommerce, or content management systems
