Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requests to design and configure automated systems that meet user needs and industry requirements
• Formulate system scope and objectives based on user needs and business system understanding
• Develop business specifications and logical flowcharts to assist programmers in creating technical specifications
• Maintain communication with end-users to gather feedback and ensure systems meet expectations
• Create documentation including manuals, file layouts, and application design layouts for internal and client use
• Support testing, planning, and validation processes to ensure successful system implementation
• Assist with project planning for small development efforts and track project progress

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience working directly with end-users to meet business needs
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of scripting and data structures
• Experience or knowledge within the bankcard or payments industry
• Working towards a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
