Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requests to design and configure automated systems that meet user needs and industry requirements.
• Develop business specifications, logical flowcharts, and documentation including manuals and file layouts.
• Collaborate with end-users, programmers, and test analysts to assist with system design, configuration, and maintenance.
• Support testing, planning, and validation processes to ensure successful system implementation.
• Assist with project planning for small development efforts and track project progress.
• Maintain documentation for functional and business specifications and ensure compliance with payment card industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience working directly with end-users to identify and meet business needs.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio.
• Ability to use flowcharting techniques or UML.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the bankcard industry and payment technology landscape.
• Scripting knowledge and a strong understanding of data structures.
• Working towards a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
