Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Document functional and non-functional requirements for the delivery of Data Products
• Create As-Is and Future state process maps to support digital and AI capabilities
• Enhance data collection, analysis, and management processes for Fund Management teams
• Define data quality rules, business rules, and acceptance criteria
• Perform source-to-target mapping and translate business needs into technical specifications
• Facilitate alignment between technical and business functions to drive consensus

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally in Asset Management
• Strong understanding of Private Markets (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Credit, etc.) and fund structures (LP/GP models, Open/Closed-end funds)
• Proven experience in requirement gathering, data product definition, and stakeholder management
• Proficiency in using data analytic tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI platforms
• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks using JIRA and Confluence
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Private Asset Management and investment data
• Familiarity with Collibra glossary, Power BI, and portfolio/transaction data
• Knowledge of Capital calls, distributions, and Fund accounting/NAV processes
