Business Analyst, Distribution Operations

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions with operations, IT, and vendor stakeholders for new distribution center startups and automation projects.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements for WMS configuration, warehouse automation, and supporting IT infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) linking business requirements to functional specifications and test cases.
• Author operational process documentation for core workflows including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Own the end-to-end testing strategy, including SIT, UAT, regression, and operational readiness testing.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, managing defect triage and go/no-go decisions.
• Act as the primary liaison between business operations and IT to ensure alignment and requirement quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within business or operations teams.
• Proven experience owning end-to-end requirements for large, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong experience leading or coordinating UAT and structured testing efforts.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into structured requirements, workflows, and test cases.
• Experience developing and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM).
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Willingness to travel 40-50%.
