About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key liaison between Information Technology and business units to ensure technology systems meet stakeholder needs.
  • Capture business requirements, evaluate alternative solutions, and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Manage technical solutions throughout the entire System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Facilitate meetings between IT staff and business process owners to define conceptual and logical business models.
  • Define business cases, including current baseline metrics and future target KPIs, to drive strategic outcomes.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture, application development, and business intelligence teams to improve business performance.
  • Document "as-is" and "to-be" process models to facilitate consensus on process improvements and technology implementations.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
  • Five years of experience as a Business Analyst managing IT projects to completion.
  • Proven experience using various business requirement gathering techniques and process redesign methods.
  • Strong understanding of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and document complex results.
  • Ability to travel when appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • M.B.A. or other advanced degree.
  • Project Management certification (PMP) or completion of formal PMP coursework.
