Business Analyst Consultant

Responsibilities

• Analyze information from various sources, including tools, processes, and documentation, to support digital business strategies.
• Collaborate proactively with development teams to address technical issues and define the product backlog.
• Generate and interpret technical diagrams based on Scotiabank platforms.
• Understand and monitor KPIs impacted by digital initiatives.
• Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, regulations, and risk management frameworks.
• Participate in release planning meetings and support operational management tasks.
• Promote a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage banking systems.

Requirements

• University degree in IT, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related engineering fields.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a results-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in English is desired.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within digital banking channels.
• Knowledge of compliance policies and regulatory standards applicable to digital products.
• Understanding of operational, regulatory, and anti-money laundering (AML) risk frameworks.
