Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Gather and document detailed business requirements in a traceable, testable, and verifiable format
• Use business requirements modeling techniques including UML and service modeling
• Participate in all phases of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology
• Perform GAP analysis to identify business rules, system process flows, and user administration
• Identify and document issues, risks, and gaps with recommended alternatives
• Develop specifications for dashboards, reports, data requirements, and Data Dictionaries
• Work closely with IT Managers and database reporting teams to identify data delivery methods
• Collaborate with business users to identify rules for functional specifications

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in a Business Analyst role
• Strong knowledge of business process improvement and system implementation
• Experience conducting JAD sessions
• Proficiency in Use Case design, analysis, and specifications
• Ability to develop and execute system test plans
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, RUP, and Iterative
• Proficiency with Use Cases, User Stories, BRDs, FRDs, SQL queries, and UNIX scripts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
