Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering through user interviews and work process analysis
• Oversee technology-related business process initiatives from requirements through implementation
• Act as the 'voice of the customer' to improve processes and increase satisfaction
• Work with development and support teams to write use cases and prioritize features
• Research and promote emerging technologies to enhance IT operations
• Perform initial testing of enhancements and coordinate second-level testing with SMEs
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers and OIT stakeholders
• Monitor and report on business process-related IT projects and service level agreements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years of work experience, preferably in IT
• Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing projects
• Experience implementing Organizational Change Management
• Experience working in a large governmental environment
