Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between business/data users and IT departments
• Track reinsurance system bugs and document enhancements
• Test system changes and bug fixes to ensure desired results are met
• Perform data analytics and reconciliations
• Utilize Excel and MS Access for analysis and the generation of management and financial reports
• Provide general support for various department projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong math aptitude with the ability to interpret complex formulas and business concepts
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to handle shifting priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience, such as internships, part-time roles, or summer jobs
• Demonstrated leadership experience in work, community service, athletics, or clubs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• A strong desire to learn and grow within the insurance and reinsurance operations field
