Business Analyst - Analytics

Responsibilities

• Capture and clarify business requirements using data flow diagrams, gap analysis, and process flow diagrams.
• Function as a techno-functional expert to design solutions and identify relevant datasets within the data warehouse.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries and comprehensive documentation.
• Support business and technology teams during data analysis and the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase.
• Act as a proxy customer to facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams.
• Create prototypes for deliverables using data blending and reporting tools like Alteryx and Power BI.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks, translating findings into compelling data stories and visualizations.
• Support small-scale analytics projects focused on product growth, sales drivers, and client behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 4 to 7 years of professional experience in analytics, insights, or consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Python, and SQL.
• Proficiency in using the JIRA Agile framework.
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex data querying, analysis, and reconciliation.
• Experience working with large data volumes and structured software development life-cycle methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Snowflake, Oracle, or Hyperion.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL or SnowSQL for advanced data querying.
• Knowledge of Data Science concepts.
• Prior experience working with Corporate Property Services, Real Estate planning, or HR functions.
