Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Elicit citizen and business needs through service journeys and develop business cases via rapid prototyping
• Develop user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Evaluate and recommend technologies including AI tools aligned with GovTech directions
• Identify and adopt appropriate development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
• Ensure system readiness for deployment and analyze the impact of changes
• Assist the CIO in identifying digital transformation opportunities
• Define product vision, roadmap, and objectives aligned with business strategy
• Communicate product strategies and use data to inform decisions

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant IT field
• 4+ years of experience in IT business analysis, solution design, and testing
• Experience in at least one full software/product development cycle
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to code and iterate during planning sessions and workshops

Preferred Qualifications

• Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP)
• Past development or consulting experience
• Experience in Agile, Knowledge Management, or Service Design
• Exposure to React, JavaScript, Python, Java, or .NET
• Familiarity with government development tools and CI/CD concepts
• Experience with Agile tools like Figma, Miro, or JIRA
• Certification such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
