Business Analyst (8 Months Contract) - On-site Abu Dhabi - Octopus by RTG

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders, documenting business needs, workflows, and processes.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the liaison between business and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Support product lifecycle activities, from ideation to delivery, ensuring requirements are met.
• Prepare detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), process flows, and reports.
• Collaborate with QA teams in UAT to validate solutions against requirements.
• Ensure requirements are implemented accurately and within project timelines.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with strong product experience.
• Proven experience in the financial services sector (e.g., banking, payments, fintech) is required.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in financial products.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with analysis and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital transformation projects in financial institutions.
• Exposure to enterprise-level product development and integration projects.
• Familiarity with QA practices and UAT facilitation.
• Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
