Business Analysis Specialist

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with risk management teams to gather requirements and provide progress updates
• Generate business requirements and documentation aligned with policy to ensure technology meets business needs
• Analyze existing processing workflows and identify opportunities for pipeline optimization
• Work alongside developers and technical experts to define functional and technical requirements
• Design functional test cases and perform testing and valuation concurrently with development
• Review test results and identify corrective steps for complex issues across application boundaries
• Facilitate presentations to stakeholders and management using strong verbal and written communication

Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
• 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in capital markets risk and financial risk (e.g., CCR or VAR calculation)
• 3 to 5+ years of experience with Python shell scripting
• Recent hands-on experience with Sybase or Postgres SQL
• Recent hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments
• Proficiency with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of banking application systems and software from a business/technical viewpoint
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence
