Business Affairs Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Legal, Project Management, and Production teams to align on contract terms and compliance
• Identify and mitigate risks in creative development and production approaches
• Provide guidance on intellectual property licensing and talent usage rights
• Evaluate production bids and creative treatments against project scopes and budgets
• Draft and review MSAs, SOWs, and talent agreements for large-scale productions and creator content
• Monitor industry regulations and advertising/marketing legal requirements
• Maintain systems for tracking contract statuses, expirations, and renewals

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in business affairs, legal, or compliance within advertising and marketing
• Proven experience negotiating commercial contracts including Talent agreements, MSAs, and SOWs
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field
• Strong understanding of intellectual property rights, licensing, and talent usage
• Experience with social networking platforms, broadcast, and new media
• Knowledge of digital marketing and production processes
• Experience with union (SAG/AFTRA, IATSE) and non-union productions preferred
• Excellent negotiation and organizational skills
