Business Advisor

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of high-value and complex small business owner relationships to achieve retention and negotiated goals.
• Proactively engage with new and existing clients to provide comprehensive financial advice and support business growth.
• Build a strong presence within the local business community by developing relationships with various Centres of Influence.
• Partner with fellow advisors to create a customer-centric environment and ensure exceptional service throughout the customer journey.

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of the small business market, including products, services, and competitor offerings.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, risk management policies, and legal/security documentation.
• Proven business development techniques and familiarity with small business legal structures and life cycles.
• Education in a business-related discipline or equivalent professional experience as a small business owner.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
