About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial, human resources, and administrative operations for the Office of the University Registrar.
  • Track expenses and analyze budgets exceeding $3M, ensuring compliance with University reconciliation requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to Human Resources, coordinating employment, labor relations, benefits, and training.
  • Act as Procurement Card Administrator, managing purchase orders, requisitions, and expense reports.
  • Maintain complex calendars for the University Registrar and Associate Vice President, prioritizing meetings and travel.
  • Coordinate the hiring process for staff, including scheduling interviews and arranging travel.
  • Provide technical assistance to staff regarding desktop software and University web systems.
  • Support the management of the academic calendar and the Records Retention program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Five years of job-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft Student Administration.
  • Advanced spreadsheet analysis and database management skills.
  • Proven experience in fiscal management and budget preparation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior knowledge of University of Delaware policies and procedures.
  • Experience working within a higher education enrollment management environment.
