Business Accountability Director

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of managers and individual contributors focused on risk mitigation and service delivery
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and oversee the execution of risk control development
• Make strategic decisions to resolve complex issues related to high-risk deliverables
• Collaborate with and influence senior leadership, business heads, regulators, and audit partners
• Manage the allocation of people and financial resources to align with strategic business objectives
• Foster a culture of talent development to meet long-term business goals

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in risk management, business controls, or compliance
• 4+ years of management or leadership experience
• Proven ability to manage complex risk mitigation functions in a regulated environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing disaster recovery tests in a sophisticated technology environment
• Knowledge of global bank and broker-dealer regulatory requirements regarding technology resiliency
• Experience training and mentoring staff in disaster recovery testing, execution, and after-action reporting
