Business Accountability Associate

Responsibilities

• Support Governance & Oversight activities related to policy adherence, risk mitigation, and control execution across Banking, Lending & Trust
• Execute risk, issue, and control activities including documentation, tracking, validation, and closure support
• Research, review, and present findings related to controls, policies, and governance deliverables
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and evidence in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Identify control execution gaps, data inconsistencies, or process inefficiencies and escalate as needed
• Support audit and examination requests by preparing artifacts and responses
• Prepare and maintain governance, risk, and control reporting for management and stakeholders
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives using Python, Alteryx, Power BI, and Microsoft Copilot

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in governance, risk management, business controls, audit, compliance, or business operations
• Demonstrated experience supporting control execution, audit readiness, or issue management
• Proficiency in technical and analytical tools including Python, Alteryx, Power BI, and advanced Excel
• Experience using AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot in a professional environment
• Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail
• Effective stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong risk-aware mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working specifically within Governance & Oversight, Control Management, or Compliance functions
• Familiarity with policy-driven operating environments and regulatory expectations
• Proven experience building automation solutions using Power Apps or Copilot-enabled workflows
• Experience supporting AI-enabled process optimization initiatives within a governed enterprise environment
