About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate buses following established routes and schedules to provide safe and reliable transportation
- Maintain high safety standards to ensure passenger confidence and comfort
- Communicate accurately regarding changes in passenger itineraries and transportation data
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and monitor vehicle performance and limitations
- Utilize two-way radio systems for proper communication
- Assist passengers with disabilities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- One year of bus driving experience, including transporting passengers
- Valid NH CDL-B with passenger and air brake endorsements
- Valid NHDOT medical card
- Successful completion of criminal and driver record checks
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to complete required driver training courses (Defensive Driving, Passenger Assistance, and Emergency Evacuation)
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
