Bus Driver - Reception and Quality Control

Responsibilities

• Operate RTA buses between reception offices, workshops, and external locations, including conducting road tests.
• Provide roadside assistance to technical teams and transport spare parts or equipment to suppliers and stations.
• Operate sewage tankers to collect and dispose of wastewater in accordance with Dubai Municipality policies.
• Perform scheduled tasks including vehicle cleaning, fueling, safety inspections, and maintenance checks (tires, brakes, lights, oil, and coolant levels).
• Ensure all safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency tools, are present and functional.
• Report any maintenance requirements or repairs immediately to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all RTA information security policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Primary school education or equivalent.
• Valid UAE heavy driving license.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• 0-2 years of practical work experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey information effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and build trust with customers and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the Arabic language.
