Bus Attendant

Responsibilities

• Assist preschool-aged students with disabilities entering and exiting the school bus or van
• Ensure student safety before, during, and after transportation
• Adhere to all required safety guidelines and protocols
• Build rapport and trust with students to facilitate a positive environment

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass Easterseals and Philadelphia School District required clearances
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and alcohol screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a School Bus Attendant
• Experience as a Childcare Aide
• Experience working with special needs populations
