Bus Assembler

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install copper bus and conductive material into electrical enclosures per drawing packages
• Read and comprehend schematics and technical documents under supervision
• Use tools including tape measures, drills, hand power tools, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks
• Maintain a safe and organized work area following quality standards and safety procedures
• Complete necessary production paperwork such as Engineering Corrective Reports and Material Transfer Requests

Requirements

• 0-1 year of experience assembling copper bus or similar materials in a manufacturing facility
• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of mechanical tools including screwdrivers, crimpers, and air tools
• Ability to perform intermediate math calculations
• Manual dexterity and arm-hand steadiness for precision assembly
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods on a production floor
