Bunker Trader

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Senior Bunker Traders to secure new business and develop client relationships.
• Actively broker and trade on behalf of clients to ensure optimum rates.
• Conduct market research and prospect for new business opportunities within the China market.
• Manage a portfolio of customers and suppliers, acting as a reliable point of contact for transactions.
• Assist in the bunker purchasing process, including pre-sale and post-delivery information gathering.
• Support the trading team with ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma qualification.
• 2–4 years of experience in the Bunker Trading industry.
• Ability to work long hours as required by the business.
• Ability to multitask in a highly stressed and fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Professional integrity and a results-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• An existing client base in the industry.
• Knowledge of basic financial derivative instruments.
