About the role
Responsibilities
- Weigh trucks in and out of plant and track weight information
- Load bulk trucks accurately with minimal overloads and reloads
- Inspect trucks for compliance with Safe Feed Safe Food (SFSF) and Quality systems
- Take quality samples of loads for customer assurance
- Greet and direct truck drivers and perform data entry
- Ensure truck drivers conduct business in a safe manner
- Perform daily workplace exams (WPE) to MSHA standards
- Operate equipment including Dump Truck, Skid Steer, 972 Loader, Water Truck, scissor lift, and manlift
- Maintain shipping area housekeeping and repair chutes and pulleys
Requirements
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (Dump Truck, Skid Steer, Loader, etc.)
- Ability to perform data entry and use computer systems
- Knowledge of or ability to follow MSHA safety regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks including housekeeping and equipment repair
