About the role
Responsibilities
- Load lime products into railcars and trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate Shuttlewagon equipment and remote-control systems to move railcars
- Verify product type, destination, and loading requirements
- Weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles using plant scale systems
- Generate bills of lading and shipping documentation
- Obtain product samples for quality testing and analysis
- Maintain cleanliness of the scale house, loading areas, and surrounding work areas
- Monitor inventory levels and storage bins
Requirements
- Compliance with MSHA, environmental, and safety standards
- Ability to use required PPE including respiratory protection and steel-toe boots
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) and confined space entry procedures
- Ability to operate computer systems for documentation and weighing
- Capability to perform physical housekeeping and general cleanup tasks
