About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the protection of physical assets, facility equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping.
  • Identify and schedule necessary repairs and preventative maintenance using BaSE mechanics and outside vendors.
  • Dispatch BaSE Mechanics for conveyor system repairs and monitor Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage projects related to buildings, facility systems, and customer initiatives, including planning and execution.
  • Maintain environmental compliance regarding Storm Water, Clean Air, and Hazardous Materials programs.
  • Deliver required regulatory training, such as Lockout and Hazmat training, to personnel.
  • Identify financial impacts and opportunities for cost-saving measures to support budget alignment.
  • Communicate work status to colleagues to manage impacts on departmental schedules.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and simple diagrams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, including some on-call or weekend work as needed.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, National, or authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Engineering.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, motor control theory, and basic AC/DC electrical troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of networks and programming experience.
