Building Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various building types and materials
• Conduct field investigations and develop concept designs
• Create construction documents for clients in Federal/Local Government, Industrial, and Manufacturing markets
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and architects on diverse projects including industrial facilities and waterfront structures

Requirements

• 0-4 years of structural design experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration from an ABET accredited program
• Knowledge of building codes and standards including IBC, ASCE, and ACI
• Proficiency with structural design and analysis software such as RISA or STAAD
• Experience with drafting and modeling software including Revit and AutoCAD
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Internship experience in a related engineering field
