Building Operator

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day operations and maintenance programs to ensure uninterrupted tenant operations and high operational efficiency.
• Receive and resolve incoming work orders and respond with urgency to tenant escalations and incidents.
• Complete assigned preventative maintenance activities and monthly meter reading tasks.
• Obtain quotes for operational repairs and assist vendors with site access.
• Conduct compliance inspections and resolve any identified deficiencies.
• Utilize Operational Technology and assist with the deployment of new initiatives.
• Update asset inventory data and assist with building certification applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Building Operations.
• Working knowledge of building systems including Fire Alarm, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Elevators, Security, and Building Automation.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and WHMIS.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for on-call/standby duties after regular business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• BOMI BES Class II certification.
