Responsibilities

• Plan and execute responsive and planned maintenance in accordance with BAS or facility management systems
• Establish work schedules and coordinate/supervise subcontractor activities
• Perform basic facility tours and log readings
• Respond to tenant complaints and maintain customer/vendor relationships
• Perform light duties including cleaning, painting, snow removal, HVAC, and plumbing tasks
• Assist in developing quality control programs and purchasing building materials
• Prepare progress reports and issue schedules to clients
• Review work, contracts, and WIP for risk and deficiencies

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Building Operator
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation systems (BAS), and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
• Experience interacting with contractors, technicians, or service providers
• Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical building systems
• Clean Class 5 SK Driver’s License with ability to travel to client facilities
• Ability to pass security clearance, criminal background check, and professional reference check

Preferred Qualifications

• Class 5 Power Engineering Certification
• Construction trade certification in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical
