Requirements

Commercial building management experience, IOSH required, NEBOSH preferred, Knowledge of HVAC and MEPH systems, Proficiency in CAFM systems

Act as the single point of contact for all matters relating to the building(s) in scope
Oversee all maintenance and repair tasks, including regular inspections and preventative maintenance
Ensure health and safety compliance, maintain records, and oversee security systems
Manage and develop on-site teams, including recruitment, training, and performance reviews
Create and manage maintenance and operations budgets and support contract management of third-party vendors
Build strong relationships with property owners, occupiers, and service partners
Champion sustainability initiatives and support net zero carbon and waste reduction targets
Oversee public realm areas adjacent to the property to ensure high standards of service
Manage documentation including O&M manuals, occupier handbooks, and compliance records
Lead on risk management, business continuity planning, and insurance matters

Proven experience managing commercial buildings
Strong understanding of property management, statutory compliance, and building services operations
IOSH qualification required; NEBOSH preferred
Professional accreditation in real estate, facilities, technical, or commercial management (e.g., IWFM, CIBSE)
Confident understanding of building systems (HVAC, MEPH) and maintenance
Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Experience in contractor/KPI management and service charge budgeting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CAFM systems
