Building Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage cleanroom PPE and lab cleaning supplies, including stocking, ordering, and vendor quality control
• Oversee food and beverage programs, catering, and snack services while monitoring budgets
• Coordinate janitorial schedules, cleaning standards, and soft services like waste management and pest control
• Negotiate service contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure reliable support
• Maintain shared spaces such as kitchens, breakrooms, and meeting rooms to ensure functionality
• Support employee engagement activities and manage onsite visitor entry and badging
• Track and reconcile invoices, budgets, and service costs to ensure financial accuracy
• Assist with regulatory compliance tasks and maintain documentation for vendor agreements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a related facilities or building management position
• Proven experience working with service providers and external vendors
• Proficiency in using Confluence and Jira for project coordination and task tracking
• Strong financial acumen for effective budget management
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical activities such as stooping, climbing, and standing
• Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, or on-call as required
• Dedication to safety in an industrial environment involving high voltage, magnets, and cryogenics
