About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and safety of a high-rise residential building
- Program key fobs, enter-phones, and manage email communications
- Conduct monthly fire safety checklists and regular inspections of common areas
- Perform basic security duties including checking doors and camera footage
- Report to strata manager and strata council, including attending meetings
- Coordinate with trades and resolve resident issues
- Handle in-suite issues such as water leaks, doors, and windows
- Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and telecommunication troubleshooting
- Support concierge tasks such as move-ins, move-outs, and fob requests
Requirements
- Proven experience in facility management, preferably in residential settings
- Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
- Computer skills including email and word processing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Building Manager
- 1 year of experience as a Handyman
- Experience with pool testing and maintenance
- Customer service experience
