Building Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and safety of a high-rise residential building
• Program key fobs, enter-phones, and manage email communications
• Conduct monthly fire safety checklists and regular inspections of common areas
• Perform basic security duties including checking doors and camera footage
• Report to strata manager and strata council, including attending meetings
• Coordinate with trades and resolve resident issues
• Handle in-suite issues such as water leaks, doors, and windows
• Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and telecommunication troubleshooting
• Support concierge tasks such as move-ins, move-outs, and fob requests

Requirements

• Proven experience in facility management, preferably in residential settings
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• Computer skills including email and word processing
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Building Manager
• 1 year of experience as a Handyman
• Experience with pool testing and maintenance
• Customer service experience
