Building Maintenance Mechanic & Driver

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and elevators
• Install and repair electrical light fixtures and plumbing devices such as faucets and flushometers
• Conduct regular inspections of building interiors, exteriors, and mechanical rooms to identify hazards
• Transport supplies, production parts, and company personnel between facilities as directed
• Manage incoming mail and parcels, including weighing packages, preparing shipping labels, and arranging courier pickups
• Perform indoor and outdoor janitorial duties, including snow removal and emergency response tasks
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical/mechanical testing equipment like voltage meters and pressure gauges

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance, engineering, or property management
• Working knowledge of various tools utilized in building maintenance
• Ability to use electrical and mechanical testing equipment
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (subject to a five-year review)
• Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds or heavier frequently
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and oral communication in English
