About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering support for building systems and equipment operation, improvements, and upgrades
- Identify and recommend potential building systems-related projects
- Lead preventative maintenance, process improvements, and equipment selection
- Direct capital projects including design changes and reliability analysis
- Assist with reviewing price quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor
- Manage elevator and fire/life safety systems maintenance and modernization
- Maintain records for property permits, licenses, and environmental requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of facilities support experience in commercial, multi-family, or hospitality industries
- Strong knowledge of MEP, commissioning, life/fire safety, elevators, and HVAC systems
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial and non-financial data
- High level of independence and decision-making ability
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for both small and large enterprise companies
- Familiarity with the Short Term Rental (STR) industry
