Building Engineer

Responsibilities

• Study and control of execution projects or existing buildings
• Site visits to blocks and single-family homes, primarily in the civil sector
• Structural calculation of projects
• Study and control of works during the execution phase
• Material control including review of quality control certificates
• Supervision of mandatory ten-year insurance for developers and subcontractors
• Issuance of OCT (Technical Control Organization) reports
• Preparation of execution control, watertightness, and installation reports
• Review of projects for compliance with the CTE (Technical Building Code)

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Engineering, Building, Civil Engineering, or Technical Architecture
• Homologated degree in Spain
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position or experience as an OCT or in a construction company
• Proximity to the workplace

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Health and Safety Coordination
• Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL)
