About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire control, and building management systems
- Conduct site inspections of roofs, mechanical, and electrical rooms
- Troubleshoot and repair facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical
- Comply with EPA, OSHA, and ASHRAE safety guidelines
- Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades and facility improvements
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Assist in coordinating construction projects and natural disaster recovery efforts
Requirements
- 2 years of field experience or equivalent technical training
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Ability to work at heights and climb 28 ft. ladders routinely
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing)
- Ability to use mobile devices or laptops for work order systems and email
- Ability to work the 2pm-10pm shift, Monday-Friday
Preferred Qualifications
- Training and certification in HVAC or Operating Engineer technologies
- CFC training and certification
- Familiarity with OSHA, NEC, and NFC codes and regulations
- Experience with Building Automation Systems
