Building Enclosure Consultant II

Responsibilities

• Manage enclosure-related projects from inception to completion for new and existing construction
• Evaluate building performance using computer simulations, hygrothermal modeling, and energy consumption calculations
• Prepare building envelope design reports, CAD drawings, and specifications
• Oversee construction phase services including field observation, inspection, and documentation
• Conduct investigations and repairs for failing building enclosure systems
• Perform on-site failure investigations, condition assessments, and litigation support
• Manage client services, including technical discussions, progress communication, and project close-out

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering, or Building Science
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA)
• Six or more years of building enclosure consulting experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT
• Experience managing staff and projects
• Ability to travel for field work and site investigations
• Knowledge of building science modeling software like WUFI, THERM, or HEAT3 is a benefit

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field
• Professional certifications such as RRO, RRC, RWC, REWC, or RBEC
