Building Custodian III

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain campus areas both inside and outside the facility
• Perform indoor duties including cleaning fixtures, furnishings, and stripping/sealing floors
• Maintain outdoor grounds, walkways, and parking lots
• Handle chemical usage and biohazard cleanup tasks
• Provide work instructions and demonstrate proper cleaning methods to less experienced staff

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance, housekeeping, janitorial work, or grounds maintenance
• Strong working knowledge of cleaning methods
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to work any shift, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience serving as a lead worker
