Building Caretaker

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, including garbage and recycling areas
• Monitor and troubleshoot building systems like heating, ventilation, and water systems
• Coordinate contractor access and building inspections
• Handle fob and interphone programming
• Perform administrative tasks such as posting notices and submitting reports
• Conduct chemical checks for the hot tub
• Maintain exterior grounds and clean common areas, lobbies, and hard surface floors
• Respond to tenant questions and report issues to the property manager

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial, caretaker, or related fields
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Proficiency with basic computer applications like Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations
• Flexibility and availability to address requests promptly

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Building Caretaker
• 1 year of Janitorial experience
• Experience working with hot tubs or swimming pools
