About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, wire, and commission BAS control systems including DDC panels, sensors, actuators, and VAVs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC controls, networks, and system integration
- Perform point-to-point checkout and system verification
- Modify and update control sequences and graphics as required
- Support project teams with startup and commissioning activities
- Respond to service calls and diagnose system issues in a timely manner
- Work with multiple systems such as Alerton, Siemens, Honeywell, Niagara, and Strato/OCN+
- Coordinate with mechanical contractors, electricians, and other trades on-site
- Maintain accurate documentation including redlines, reports, and service notes
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and site requirements
Requirements
- 5-7 years minimum experience in building automation industry projects
- Sound knowledge of building automation systems and construction environments
- Ability to obtain government security clearance
- Valid G Driver’s License and personal transportation
- Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
